West Texas Rehabilitation Center in Abilene, Texas is seeking an additional Pediatric Physical Therapist. Opportunity for a full-time position in an outpatient setting with the option of flexible scheduling and no weekend coverage. Provide PT services in a variety of settings including the local schools, Head Start centers and out-patient clinic environment. You will have the chance to work with a highly regarded staff where continuing education is supported and encouraged. WTRC provides an atmosphere of continued learning with a strong student program across disciplines.

Our patient population includes infants up to 21 years of age. A team approach is used for evaluating and treating multi-disciplinary patients with case management services provided as needed. Candidates for this position should be comfortable working with other disciplines as well as with contract agencies, such as the public schools.

West Texas Rehabilitation Center is a full-service health center offering a wide range of rehab services, including three therapy gyms, private treatment rooms, Lite Gait, adaptive tricycles, Wii Fit and start-of-the-art SI gym. Overall, the center offers OT, PT, Orthotics, Speech Therapy, Sports Medicine, Parent Case Management, hospice and specialty clinics (neuro, ortho, genetics, etc.). The pediatric department currently employs 18 therapists including PT, OT and ST. WTRC offers these rehabilitation services in three facilities located in Abilene, San Angelo and Ozona.
